When I first met Chloe and Matt I knew that they’re wedding was going to be an absolute cracker. Even though the finer details had not yet been decided on, I could tell from the couples warm, fun and charismatic natures that it was going to be a creative and quirky affair.
I was blown away by the attention to detail and effort that had gone into the styling of this wedding all the way from the hand sewn names on Chloe’s garter down to the purple pinstriped shirts of they boys to match the girls dresses.
The ‘lovebirds’ theme and purple colour scheme carried throughout the entirety of the event was executed very well. Not too over the top, yet still with distinct character and flair. A few of my favorite aspects of the day had to be Chloe’s royal purple satin heels to match her bridesmaids dresses, Matt’s hilarious love song he wrote and recorded which then played to Chloe’s surprise as they walked out the aisle, along with both the bride and grooms parents and grandparents wedding portraits displayed on a special table set up at the reception.
Although the rain was persistent on November nineteenth, we managed to have a great time getting some lovely shots at the Drysdale Train Station, McLeods Waterholes Reserve and Bellarine Estate.
I had a truly wonderful time with the very relaxed and loved up pair along with they’re gorgeous bridal party. Thanks for the sensational day Mr and Mrs Horsted!

It’s not often that I start my day at five thirty in the morning, however today I did. I took a trip down the coast along the Great Ocean Road starting at Bells Beach and winding up in Apollo Bay.
The earliest hours of the day often slip by without us realising just how quiet and beautiful they are. Taking time to meander along one of the most famous and diverse stretches of coastline in the world this morning was simply breathtaking. The heavy salt and eucalyptus filled air, soft dawn light along with the rhythm of waves crashing was pure magic.
Here’s a glimpse of my morning…

What a delightful shoot in the woods with twins Tas and Henry last friday! Even though a little chaotic at times trying to get two cheeky boys in frame at once the shots have come out just as I hoped.
A massive thanks to Jess Chisholm who’s creativity and understanding of aesthetics made her a fabulous stylist to have on hand as well as twin wrangler (aka Mum).
Enjoy Chisholm family!

Well its already here, that time of year when you notice decorations going up you think to yourself ‘my gosh, its really not long until Christmas is here’.
So what better time to make sure you get a great portrait of your quirky wee ones, belly bumps, loved up grins or family hugs to use as gifts for those nearest and dearest to you this Christmas.
Whether your image be used as a framed fine art print, screen saver or Christmas card its guaranteed to be treasured, raise a smirk and maybe even let out a laugh.

Often when at my good friend Jo’s house, an old trike in the backyard has caught my eye. This trike is in fact Jo’s from when she was a little girl however these days Fletch, Jo and Justin’s rather excitable and boisterous four year old son has fun tearing around the backyard on it. I knew the trike would be the perfect prop for a little weekend photo shoot with Fletch and his very quirky little sister Lottie. Here is a little preview from the short and sweet session…
